SCOPE: Renovation of Lobby, Great Room, Bar, Lounge, Meeting Rooms, Ballrooms and Bathrooms. Extensive stone, millwork, metalwork, painting, wall covering, HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler and electric work. Project completed in phases to allow the hotel to remain open.

Public Space, Ballrooms & Restaurant/Bar

SIZE: 60,000 S.F.

SCOPE: 6th Floor Ballroom – Extensive structural steel work to reinforce concrete floor, fume mitigation system required to eliminate welding smoke and order. Refurbishment of 600 linear feet of folding partitions. New wall covering, paint, upholstery and carpet. Extensive electric and A/V work. New chandeliers and support system.
8th Floor Restaurant & Bars – Renovation of two bars and construction of new restaurant which included custom millwork, state of the art A/V system with custom metal and glass TV display. High end finishes including custom stone work, metal and glass railings and plaster finishes.

37th Floor Room Expansion

SIZE: 8,000 S.F.

SCOPE: Construction of eight (8) new guestrooms on the 37th floor. Complicated logistical project which required bringing large pieces of steel and associated building material into a fully occupied hotel. Job included replacement of curtain wall and installation of a complex scaffolding system.

SCOPE: Construction of eight (8) new guestrooms on the 38th floor. The job entailed the removal of an existing roof structure within the hotel and the buildout of eight new rooms.

“Jewel Box” Renovation

SIZE: 10,000 SF

SCOPE: Renovation of the main entry to the hotel. The scope included custom millwork panels, custom metal and glass enclosures and extensive stone work. New escalators were installed involving structural steel and concrete work.

Front Desk & Retail Renovation

SIZE: 11,000 SF

SCOPE: Phased renovation of the front desk, business center and retail stores in this extremely busy hotel. The scope included custom metal and glass work as well as high end millwork items. The project was phased to allow hotel operations to run uninterrupted.

Port Cochere

SIZE: 20,000 S.F.

SCOPE: Replaced ceiling and lighting with new custom Kalwall panel system and new lighting. Restored and painted columns. Recladded marquis with stainless steel panels. All work completed while maintaining the full operations of the drive thru areas.

SCOPE: Conversion of an existing restaurant into a corporate function space. The scope included extensive millwork, metal work, glazing, tile and stone work. Complex ceiling layout required tight coordination of mechanical and electrical trades.

SCOPE: Lobby: Installation of a new entry vestibule, including a new power assisted revolving door. High end finishes consisting of stone flooring, leather panels, wall covering, faux finishes and mahogany hand rails.
Tavern: Complete build-out of high end bar/restaurant. Detailed millwork/metal bar and wall finishes.

SCOPE: Reconstruction of the entire basement level which contained all of the hotels support services. New partition, flooring, finishes and electric. Repairs to guest rooms, corridors and restaurants throughout the hotel.
